The number of treatments depends on the condition. Acute conditions need few treatments but chronic conditions need long time to get the results, and it depends on patient’s body and how it reacts to acupuncture treatments.

Is Referral necessary to receive Acupuncture treatment? No, Acupuncture is a Primary Care and patient does not need to get referrals from physician.

06. Are acupuncture Safe?

Yes, because the needles are sterile and disposable. Herbs and nutrition supplements are all natural. Side effects are so little or none compare to western Medicine, it could be very small bruises from needling, or if patient is too hungry or too full needling causes nausea. Other techniques like Cupping, Gua sha, Tui Na, Moxibustion, Qi Gong, Acupressure and maybe some Nutrition or herbs will be recommended as well.
